Claire Aloan, MS, RRT

 


Claire Alone earned her MS degree in Health Education from SUNY Cortland. Undergraduate degrees in Respiratory Care and Biology.  Many years experience in Respiratory Care as an educator, manager, sales representative and home care professional.  Co-author of the leading textbook in the field of newborn respiratory care, Respiratory Care of the Newborn and Child.  Very active in professional society activities, having served as President of both the CNY Chapter of NYSSRC and of the New York State Society.  Currently coordinates the North Country Asthma Coalition and chairs the Heart Walk Team for Samaritan.  Numerous awards for professional service.  Currently serving as the Delegate from the NYSSRC to the AARC House of Delegates.  Current position involves administrative responsibility for Respiratory Care, Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Cardiology Services, Sleep Center and Neurodiagnostics, in a health system which includes acute care facilities, long term care, and primary care offices.
