Kenneth Chapman, MD, FRCPC, FACP

            

Dr. Chapman earned his Doctor of Medicine and Master of Science from the University of Toronto.  He trained as a Fellow in the Respiratory Research Laboratory at Toronto Western Hospital. He is presently Professor of Medicine at the University of Toronto.  His other duties include Director, Asthma Centre of the Toronto Hospital and Director, Pulmonary Function Laboratory, Toronto Western Hospital and Active Staff, Division of Respiratory Medicine, The Toronto Hospital, Western and General Divisions.  

Dr. Chapman activities with external organizations include being Governor, American College of Chest Physicians for Province of Ontario; Co-chairman, Collaborative Respiratory Research Program, University of Toronto, Division of Respiratory Medicine; Medical Advisor, Assistive Devices Program and Ontario Drug Benefit Program, Ministry of Health, Ontario; Member, National Asthma Task Force, Laboratory Centres for Disease Control, Health Canada; Medical Advisor, Canadian Association of Cardio-Pulmonary Technologists; Medical Advisory Board, International Asthma Council and Medical Advisory Board, International Asthma Council.  

He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, the American College of Chest Physicians and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.  He is active on many journal and editorial boards and is extremely well published.
