Vijay Deshpande is a member of the AARC since 1973, and has
been involved in promoting respiratory care in this country as well as
internationally. He has been acclaimed as a popular speaker at State Society
meetings. He has given over 200 presentations on various topics in Respiratory
Care. Moreover, he was invited to give presentations at conferences in 13
countries: India, Sweden, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Philippines, Mexico, Colombia,
Italy, Argentina, Japan, Taiwan, Turkey and Germany. Vijay has been a
strong proponent of the AARC all his career and has participated in various
activities related to the AARC. He is an active member of the International
Committee of the AARC since 1991.
