The American Lung Association of Central New York and the New York State Society for Respiratory Care

As Medical Director of Critical Care Services for Crouse Hospital in Syracuse, NY, Dr. Acevedo has been part of Pulmonary Teaching Day for ten years, both as program director and moderator of the interactive panel discussion. Dr. Acevedo serves on the Board of Medical Advisors of the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) and on the Respiratory Care Steering Committee and Health and Science Policy Committee of the American College of Chest Physicians (ACCP).  Dr. Acevedo is a trainer in the AMA’s program “Education Physicians in End of Life Care (EPEC)” program.
