Objectives:
At the conclusion of this presentation the participant will
be able to:

State how peak flow monitoring (PFM) is useful
theoretically for patients with asthma.

Explain why routine PFM has not been shown
convincingly to affect asthma morbidity.

Explain how PFM
is inaccurate and may be misleading.
|
 |
Explain how introduction of PFM may reduce adherence to
other asthma therapy. |
